HOPE
A short film made under the SAG-AFTRA Micro-Budget Project Agreement, shot in the neighborhoods it's about. Five scenes move a young man from a barbershop chair to a Juneteenth stage — through the places where a community sees itself: a grandmother's living room, a corner store, a stretch of sidewalk with his reflection in the glass. Produced lean by design, with the studio's own production systems running the paperwork so the crew could spend its hours on the frame.
